How do I reach my doctor after-hours?

For urgent after hours need, you can page the doctor on call at 262-6262.

One of our doctors is "On-Call" 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We never mind hearing from you after hours if you have an urgent problem, but please remember that we're often not able to make an adequate diagnosis by phone. Refills need to be taken care of during regular business hours.

What should I do if I need to go to the hospital?

For serious emergencies, please go directly to your hospital of choice (as allowed by your insurance) or call 911.
If you have a potentially life or limb threatening problem, please go directly to the hospital or call 911. Otherwise, please call our office during business hours or the doctor on-call after hours (262-6262) if you need assistance. It is best to speak to a doctor before going to the hospital, if possible so they can call ahead or guide you otherwise.

When should I expect my test results?

The results of your tests take several days to come back to our office.
Please allow us 4-6 business days from the day you had the tests performed before calling our office to request your test results on all normal test results. If you have not received your test results within two weeks, please contact our office.

What will I need when checking in for my appointment?

Please allow ample time to complete the check-in process before your appointment time. Be prepared to show your insurance information and photo ID at the time of your visit. There may also be additional paperwork needed.

How do I leave a message for my doctor or nurse?

If you have an urgent need, please communicate this to the operator and your call will be expedited. When leaving a message for your doctor or nurse, avoid leaving duplicate messages as this only delays our response time. You may also send a message via our online portal at https://3862.portal.athenahealth.com/ or download the Athena Patient App by searching for athenaPatient™ in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

All calls and/or messages will receive a response within 24 hours.

What if I need a referral?

When your health care demands services or a consultation not available through our office, we will do our best to coordinate your referral. When your health insurance requires a referral, you must obtain your referral prior to receiving treatment or going to the emergency room. Failure to obtain the necessary referrals may result in you being personally responsible for the bill.

How can I get forms filled out?

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice, when needing a form filled out (i.e. vaccination records, school medications, physical forms, insurance inquires, etc). We request you make an appointment for FMLA paperwork as there is information we need from the patient. There is a charge for filling out FMLA and disability paperwork without an appointment.

What payment methods are available when paying my bill?

We accept cash, checks, Money Orders, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You can also use our online payments link on our website.

How do I make an appointment?

A scheduler is available to assist you 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday and 7:45 am to 11:30 am on Friday.
